Naturalization of Resort Golf Course Reduces Pesticide, Fertilizer, Fuel and Water Use
Greenville, SC (April 18, 2011) – The Embassy Suites Greenville Golf Resort & Conference Center has invested $3 million in creating an updated, eco-friendly golf course from the Willard Byrd-designed, 18-hole, par 72 championship Verdae Greens Golf Course. To celebrate the facility’s 20-year anniversary, it will re-open as The Preserve at Verdae this Memorial Day Weekend. The Resort is managed by John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts.
